                      - Organism ada 2 warna

                      - Merah di tgh2 / Terminal / subterminal    

                        Protoplasm (violet)

                      - Satu2nya slide yg ada 2 colour

                --> B.antrax = spore in center

                -> C.Tetani=Spore large at terminal end(drumstick)

                --> C.perfringens = Oval not bulging, subterminal

              --> C.Botulinum = Oval , slightly bulging , subterminal

Reducing substances arise from sterilized muscle tissue which are :

• blood pigments of the meat
• unsaturated fatty acids
• Growth of Bacteria :
• - C.Tetani = Blackening of Medium (not stong proteolytic)
• - C.perfringens = Reddened with sour smell 
• (No proteolytic but saccharolytic) 
• -C.Botulinum = Blackens cooked meat medium 
• (proteolytic-liquify gelatin)

                                    DEEP NUTRIENT AGAR

                     - Broth + 2% agar (Stearilized by autoclaving at 120'c 20min)

Gram +ve diplococci : PNEUMOCOCCI

(bact. menjauhkan diri mereka dari masyarakat sekeliling)

*Kalau xnampak berjauhan pun jawab je Pneumococci kot

-N.Gonorrhea - Gonorrhea

1. Lowenstein Jensen Medium (LJ)

Type : Selective Media (inhibit undesired organism to grow)

Content : Beaten Eggs , Mineral salts , 

Malachite Green (Kuih melaka warna hijau)

(Hmm..nyam nyam kalau ada org nak kasi mesti sedap)

-Tambah : Glycerol (Human type)

                     Pyruvate (Bovine type)

Egg saline

Type : Solid Media (Enriched MEdia)

Uses : For culture of TB

Plates :

1. Blood agar

Uses : Growing delicate or fastidious organisms 

                : Differentiate Organism for haemolytic action

2. Chocolate agar

Uses : For culture of Haemophylus n Niesseria
